Finalization

Tomorrow I go to school to apply for graduation. I think the lady in charge is more excited than I am. I forgot what time my appointment was, and so, I emailed her, and I was like so yeah, I can make it, but forgot what time our meeting was at.  Her reply was... and to quote the email "Yeah! I'm so pleased[!]". Okay, home slice, take it down two notches.
I understand her frustration though. Apparently, she was promoted, and then given the task of calling 500 students that could have graduated this month. Not many people called her back, or were "not ready" to graduate. And I was one of the few that actually seemed excited to get the hell out of that school. So, maybe I'll let her stay extremely excited.
I wonder what she’s going to ask/tell me. I registered for the one measly class I needed. It’s a 3 hour class, on a Saturday. But whatever. I’m fine with it. I get to look at slides, write papers, and occassionally go to a museum. All things I love doing. And, though I would have loved to take an architecture class, I’m saving myself from a lot of headaches. I was told that even the 101 class has too much math.
I know I have until May, but, I'm already thinking of putting some highly creative saying on my mortar board. (Suggestions?) I wanted to do this in high school, but my high school’s graduation cap is practically sacred. It has the school logo and the name of the school. It looks nice. So I didn’t do it. But this one is fair game. Also, if one of you comes up with something brilliant, and I decided to use it, I’ll have pictures, and a dollar to send you.
On another note, why can't I get motivated to fill out transfer applications? I think it's because it's winter break. And who really wants to do anything productive while they're supposed to be watching television in their pajamas all day?
I haven’t finished Christmas shopping. Luckily, I decided only one person was getting a Christmas present. So, I should really go out and buy that. Like now. Or tomorrow. Or soon. Ish.

I was completely shocked when I learned I had to apply to graduate. Also, I wrote "ha ha" on my hat. You'll have to find something that speaks to you.
You'll find it.
What schools are you considering for transfer?

I borrowed the grad uniform from a friend who had already graduated and didn't even think to write anything on the hat. I did wear my sunglasses through the entire ceremony, though!

I'm only shopping for one person, too, which I'll do today.

Graduation.... such a foreign idea to me. :(
