So I've decided that I'm going to finish these 30 days of truth posts on Friday or Saturday. It's just easier for me this way. Gives me time to think about whatever I have to write about. So here we go...

11: Something people seem to compliment you the most on.
Duh! My stunning good looks.
Actually, my smile.
Growing up I hated my smile. I have this one tooth that's just like stupid or something. I think you can notice in some pictures on my blog. It's like it wasn't big enough for the spot it's in, and then it decided not to stand in line straight.
I'm not really one to smile. It actually hurts me to smile. I hate smiling. But my job requires me to smile. Because apparently, if we look like we're happy it makes customers happy, and then they buy more stuff. Which isn't a bad thing.
When I started working for the store I currently work at, this was my biggest challenge. Sometimes I feel that when I smile I look fake. Like I'm faking it.
At the bottom of receipts, there's a survey that customers can do and then they get $10 off their next purchase. When they compliment one of us by our name, the company sends a little certificate to the store and the managers put it up on a bulletin board. One day, I went into work and saw that I had a little certificate. It was exciting.
This customer did her survey and said that she had a bad day at work and that I had made her feel better. She said my smile lit up the room, and she liked that.
Since then, lots of customers have said that. So I've started smiling a bit more, and people keep telling me I have a nice smile. So, I guess I'll keep smiling for a while.

The other day I went into a Sephora and the women who helped me made my whole day better. I always make sure to do the surveys and compliment them when that happens. : ) Glad you got a good review!
