Welcome to twenty eleven

I decided to skip out on making a new years' resolution post, and a "year in review" post. Mostly I think last year (2010) was one of the best despite all the drama and sadness that happened in the middle and close to the end. All the good our weighed the bad. And to me, that's all that matters. Plus all my resolutions are always the same, and I never really stick to them anyway.

However, I do feel like I should do productive things this year. Maybe finish 30 days of truth? Currently I'm on day 19. I should also really either look for a school to go to after graduation or look for a better non-retail job. Which, really, both sound great. Whatever gets me out of the world of retail and into a maybe-quite as sucky place, but with better pay, will definitely be a great improvement.

I just have to keep clear of dreaded senioritis. Which I'm pretty sure I'm already suffering from because I haven't even looked up book lists for my classes. Which means I'm going to end up paying a million dollars for text books this semester... which, isn't all that bad, but I would prefer not to.

I'm sure this year will be better than last. Considering I have the big room in the apartment now with lots of extra room.

I don't know what it is... But I know this is going to be a great year.

Hello 2010 (Pronounced Twenty Ten)

I noticed that it has been a long time since I've posted anything on here. With good reason. Work was busy from Thanksgiving weekend until what seems like Valentine's Day weekend (I can see into the future). Working in retail, you just see those kinds of things.

The start of the new year has been great. January is coming to an end, and I can say that so far, 2010 has not sucked. I still have a job, I'm in school, I've been out an about.

This years New Years Resolutions.

- Lose weight: Always a resolution. Though this year, so far, I've been sticking to it. Eating healthier food and portions and working out.

- Not using credit cards: This one, I feel, already went to shit. But it depends how you look at it. I HAD to buy a new power supply for my laptop. So I HAD to charge the 20 dollars. Which is better had I bought the 80 dollar one through Apple.

- Spending wisely: I'm still good. Going to free events, or suggested donation events is better than wasting my hard earned money. But I feel that somewhere in June or July I'm going to start spending unwisely.
